Description

Wind and Water Information at your fingertips!

The Garmin Wired Sail Pack 43 is the perfect addition to any sailboat, providing you with accurate sailing and racing data right at your fingertips. Simplified NMEA 2000 connectivity allows you to seamlessly connect the Sail Pack 43 to your current onboard Garmin electronics suite, sharing numeric data with ease. The included GNX 20 and GNX wind instrument displays offer a highly visible glass-bonded monochrome LCD display with black digits on a white or color background, making your information easy to read in any lighting condition. These large, high-contrast digits are scalable up to 36mm for excellent daytime and nighttime readability.

Garmin’s GNX Wind display puts sail boaters’ minds at ease with all of the crucial information it provides right at your fingertips. Two data fields simultaneously display digital wind rose and true apparent wind data, steering guidance, boat speed, and more. Low power consumption is crucial for sailboats, and the GNX wind display offers 350 mW daylight (no backlight) and 400 mW nighttime (mid-level backlight) use. More than 15 marine parameter configurations for wind, speed, navigation, and more can be displayed and changed with ease right through the GNX wind display. This information can also be displayed via ANT technology with the gWind wired transducer to a compatible Garmin Quatix marine smartwatch or through the Garmin Nautix in-view display (both sold separately). Garmin gWind Wireless 2 Transducer

The included gWind transducer is an easy-to-install mast-mounted device with a 3-bladed propeller that provides accurate wind speed and stable wind angles even in lighter wind conditions. These wind signals are sent wirelessly via an ANT connection to the GNX wind instrument display or to a compatible Garmin chartplotter. For your speed, temperature, and depth readings, this Wired Sail Pack provides you with both a GST 43 and a GDT transducer setup. These two transducers work simultaneously to ensure accurate speed, temperature, and depth readouts, which can be shared via your NMEA 2000 network with the addition of a NMEA 2000 adapter to your compatible Garmin chartplotter or instrument display. These transducers also come with 43mm fittings, so you don’t have to drill new holes for mounting and can even be retrofitted for existing Nexus or Silva TH43 transducers.
